Before you apply it
Because the same diagonal watermark is placed twice on every page, this tool is not suited to documents that need different labels, positions, or formatting across sections. Review the result carefully when pages contain charts, signatures, or dense text, since you cannot move or rotate the watermark.
Your PDF is marked within the browser running on your device. The document’s pages and the custom watermark text stay there during processing; nothing is sent to an external server.
Frequently asked questions
Can I watermark only a cover page or a few selected pages?
No. The watermark is drawn on every page, and this version has no per-page selection. If only certain pages should carry a label, prepare a separate PDF containing those pages before using the tool, then keep the unmarked pages apart.
Will I be able to reposition or restyle the watermark?
No. The tool uses a diagonal watermark in two preset placements on each page; its position, angle, and font cannot be customized. Choose wording that remains understandable in that fixed treatment, and use the opacity setting to decide how strongly it stands out.
